WATCH AS JEFF ZWART PROTECTS PORSCHE'S HISTORY AT THE PIKES PEAK HILLCLIMB
In this new video from Mobil 1's "Protecting History" series, Zwart talks about his past, Porsche's past, and the past of the famed hillclimb. More importantly, though, he talks about how the three are interwoven (plus there's a chance to win a trip to Rennsport). From the beginning, Porsche has shaped Mr.
Zwart's life, as his father had a 911 with a 'can of dried peas' exhaust note. He's not one to cling to the past, however, but he's definitely willing to tell the story to protect that history.

We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for three years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing examples pop up now and again. This week we're focusing on a grab bag of Porsche models from over the years, including track prepped examples, project cars, and tuner models. Hopefully you've
enjoyed our curated look at the Porsche market. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

DOES THIS 944 DESERVE TO BE MEMORIALIZED AS A HOT WHEELS CAR?
Compared to 911s, transaxle cars have always been thin on the ground in the Die Cast world. Hot Wheels' latest endeavor, the Legends Tour, invites custom car builders to throw their vehicles into the ring for a chance to become a unique Hot Wheels car. This 944 is one of the 15
finalists.

3 LIGHTING MODS TO CLEAN UP YOUR CAR'S EXTERIOR
Lighting mods have changed radically over the last several decades. Previously, Porsche owners could move from sealed beams to H7 lamps, or add driving lamps. Today's owner can pick from numerous types of emitters, consider lamp color temperature, or even use garish clear lenses and chrome housings.
But such is not the Porsche way.

PORSCHE COLLABORATES WITH GAME MAKER TO CREATE 911 INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM REALITY
Porsche actually did build the Speedster Concept and showed it off at a special 70th anniversary celebration in Stuttgart. The thing is, that real Porsche is not featured in the video found in this post. It may look exactly like the real thing.

NFL LEGEND WALTER PAYTON'S '79 911 TURBO IS FOR SALE AND IT'S "SWEET".
Celebrity ownership doesn't usually tend to do anything to increase a Porsche's value at auction, unless that celebrity is Steve McQueen or others closely and famously associated with the marque. In this case, however, an exception might be made for one of the best NFL players of all time, Walter Payton (or
Sweetness as he was known around the league).

LOUISE PIËCH'S LAST PORSCHE
Though it might not look like anything other than a strangely pristine 964, this silver Carrera holds a special place in Porsche history. As the last birthday present gifted to Louise Piëch née Porsche, daughter of Ferdinand and sister of Ferry, it is the last car of a matriarch with a unique flair for
life.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A WRECKED 959 AT A COLLECTOR AUCTION BEFORE?
When we first published the Monterey auction preview for the upcoming sales, Mecum hadn't yet uploaded photographs for this particular Porsche 959 lot. We thought that the pricing seemed a bit on the low end of 959 values with a pre-auction estimate of $500k, particularly as most of them have climbed
through the million dollar price level these days.
