How Will Changes To The Safety Regulations Affect Porsche During The 24 Hours of Le Mans
Motorsport racing of any kind is inherently dangerous, it's a dangerous sport. In fact, recent accidents and fatalities in the sport have come almost as a shock to the general public as they've grown so used to seeing drivers walk away from one terrifying accident after another. Even though danger will always be present in auto racing, it's vital to reduce risk to a minimum and that's what the newest changes to the safety regulations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans try to do. Watch the video in this post to learn more about these changes and how it might affect the race.

This Twin Engined Porsche Was The First At Indianapolis
The 2014 Indy 500 is just a few short weeks away.  While there won't be a Porsche amongst the field of contenders this year, that doesn't mean there hasn't been in the past.  In this short series of posts (we'll publish one each week until the race) we explore Porsche's history with this storied race, when they were present and why they don't participate now.  In our first post, we look at the "Porsche-Porsche" or "Twin-Porsche" as some referred to this twin-engined monstrosity that was the first Porsche powered car to ever attempt the Indy 500 back. Here's How You Can Join Porsche's Mission At The 24-Hours Of Le Mans

Here's A Way For You To Participate In Porsche's Return To Le Mans

Why Porsche Should Revive The Front Engine Sports Coupe And Build This 921
It seems our story about Anthony Collard's Porsche 921 design concept didn't go unnoticed.  Shortly after publishing it, both AutoWeek and SpeedHunters picked up on the story and before we knew it, we were seeing this car everywhere.  Even more interesting than the story and concept has been the response to it.  Lots of varied and enthusiastic opinions.  Read why we think Porsche should build this concept (or something like it) and then weigh in with your opinion in the comment section of the post. Don't forget to share this on Facebook, Twitter or other social network of your choice.
Porsche Sets All-Time Record For Monthly Sales In The U.S.

In this case, the headline says it all. Porsche is on a tear and I expect things will only get better once Macan sales come online.

Nearly 200 MPH In The 835 HP Switzer Built 997 Turbo "E911"
Even though it's not necessarily safe if done on public roads, most Porsche owners have probably seen the 100 MPH mark in their car at least once.  What about 150, 170, 200 MPH?  I'd hazard a guess that most of you haven't been their and if you have it was hopefully on a track. A few weeks ago we were offered the ride along of a lifetime.  See what happened when we met this 835 HP Switzer built 911 and its owner on a closed off airstrip in Coaling, CA.
