Watch As Vic Elford Is Inducted Into The Sebring Hall of Fame
Attending the Sebring Hall of Fame luncheon at Sebring is reserved for sponsors, teams, industry insiders and those willing to pony up big bucks for one of the very limited seats.  We were fortunate enough to attend our second induction ceremony this year at Sebring and watch Derek Bell MC as Brumos Racing, Peter Gregg, Vic Elford, Bob Tulius and Wayne Taylor were honored. Watch Vic Elford's induction for yourself
Patrick Long Interrogates His Teammates In This Humorous Video
Sebring race weekend is demanding on teams and equipment alike.  However, no one is in more demand than the drivers themselves.  Sponsors want time with them, fans want time and the media can be relentless.  To combat this "press fatigue" racer.com handed the microphone to Patrick Long and had him act as the interviewer/inquisitor to some of his more camera shy teammates.

Watch What It Was Like During Porsche's Final Pit Stop At Sebring
When you think of a pit stop during a motosport event you probably think it to be loud, frenetic, maybe even chaotic.  After all, the crew has to change tires, fuel the car and tend to any other needs in just seconds.  Controlled chaos, right?  This video from our friends at /DRIVE, shot in one take with no editing, might change you mind.  A well run crew is eerily fluid and quiet and the calm is almost disturbing.  Watch this video of the final pit stop during the Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring and see what we mean.
Why Would You Drift A Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid On Ice?
That's the question we asked ourselves when we saw the video in this post. Then it hit us. You do it because you can! Let's face it, if you have the opportunity to take a Panamera (or any Porsche for that matter) out on the ice-covered track of Camp4 Canada you would do the same thing. The biggest difference is you're not Porsche factory driver Romain Dumas and you would probably stuff it into a snow bank. I pretty sure we would.

There's Still Time To Win One Of The Best Porsche Books Of The Last 50 Years
Early last year we learned that one of our favorite Porsche authors, Randy Leffingwell, would be writing a new book to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Porsche 911. To say we were excited is an understatement.  Not only did we want a copy for our reference shelf, we wanted to review it for you. Apparently, lots of others were excited, too.  So much so, that each time we wanted to publish our review, there were no books in stock for you to purchase so we kept waiting and waiting.  Finally, over the last month Amazon and other retailers have been resupplied from the publisher and our review is ready to go.  However, before we publish our review, we wanted to give you a chance to win a copy courtesy of Randy and his publisher Motorbooks.  Here's what you need to do to win.

Beauty From An Unexpected Place
Waunakee Wisconsin isn't known as a hot bed of Porsche innovation. In fact, Waunakee is 20 miles outside of Madison, 70 miles from Milwaukee, 100 miles from Road America, and 140 miles from Chicago and a million miles from most of the places you think of when you think of tuned 911s. However, Waunakee is where this '72 911 was reborn and Accumoto is the shop responsible.  This is a story about Accumoto, its founder Mark White, and the amazing 911s he's producing for a few lucky customers. Read on.

Breakfast With Vic Elford And Hurley Haywood
We spent the entire weekend embedded with Porsche's factory race team this weekend at Sebring. What an adventure and we'll talk more about it later this week!  In the mean time, one of the many, many memorable moments was our breakfast with Vic Elford, Hurley Haywood, Bobby Rahal and others. Not only did we get invited to Vic's home for dinner, we heard from each participant what makes Sebring such a special and memorable place.  While everyone's story was enjoyable, Vic's stood out as the highlight. Here's what he told us.
Porsche AG Reports Worldwide February 2014 Sales

If you keep an eye on Porsche's world-wide sales than this post is for you.  After a fairly dissapointing January, sales have bounced back and we have it broken out for you by country for the month and as compared to last year.  While the US continues as Porsche's largest single market, other areas are developing quickly and could eventually overtake us.

Porsche's Solution To The Fire-Risk Problem With The GT3
If you ever doubted that Porsche takes quality seriously, you can stop. It's been nearly a month since Porsche issued a voluntary recall of all 991 GT3s worldwide (785 of them) and current and future owners alike have been waiting to see what would happen. That answer came on Monday afternoon when owners started receiving letters from their dealers detailing the problem and how Porsche is going to fix it.  Read more here.
