Magnus Walker's "Southern Charm & Hospitality" Video
|
Two-Seven-Seven, the red, white, and blue 1971 has almost become as famous as its owner, the dreadlocked and bearded Californian née Brit, Mr. Magnus Walker. Last October, when Magnus was in Raleigh, NC, for the Porsche By Design event at the North Carolina Museum of Art, eGarage had filmmaker Frazer Spowart follow him around with video cameras for a few days, documenting the trip.

Learn More About Porsche's Little Known LMP 2000 Project
|
In 1998 Porsche was the overall winner
at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Despite that prestigious victory their 911 GT1 was less than competitive in every other race that season. Porsche's closest kept secrets and how this mothballed race car influenced the Carrera GT.

Full of pictures, diagrams and useful information I feel more confident doing routine maintenance, and other DIY projects, on my 933. If you haven't bought a copy yet, we have one to give away.

Merdad-Tuned Cayenne Checks Into London Elizabeth Hotel, Doesn't Check Out
|
I can only assume this tuned Porsche Cayenne was stolen when it crashed into the side of London's Elizabeth Hotel. After the Cayenne's unexpected "check-in" the driver fled the scene out of what
we can only assume is embarrassment or fear of jail time. Click the picture above, or here, for the full story and more pictures of what happened when the driver of this Cayenne ran out of talent, grip and real estate all at the same time. |
