Who Are You Rooting For In The Super Bowl?
Being from New England, we're not really big Denver fans.  Nothing against the city of Denver itself, it's just that being a Tom Brady fan, it's hard to root for a team that Peyton Manning plays for.  Anyway, not I don't have to worry about it.  If anyone asks who I'm routing for I can tell them it's the Seattle Seahawks and it's because they have the best "12th man" contingent in the NFL.  This Porsche is the second of two that we know of in Seahawk colors.  That's enough of a reason for me.

Brilliant Footage Of Tuthill Porsche In The Car Killing East African Safari Classic Rally
For 18 months Tuthill Porsche prepared for the toughest rally in the world; the East African Safari Classic. Starting with a staggering lineup of 17 Porsche 911 rally cars the British firm attacked the race with a group of drivers led by two former World Rally champions (Björn Waldegård and Stig Blomqvist) and a team of over 120 people. For nine days they raced over 1,700 kilometers (1,050 miles). The course takes competitors through Kenya and Tanzania, across deserts and jungle, over rocks and past wildlife. It's a rally that is known to kill cars. In this two minute video, Tuthill Porsche showcases its nine-day battle for victory and teases a full-length documentary to come available on the 10th of February 2014 via their YouTube channel.

This 914 Speedster Is Theoretically Awesome, Actually Disappointing
We've been on the hunt for a nice 914 driver for some time now so we're constantly browsing the forums and classifieds.  As a result we come across all sorts of entertaining offerings like this 1974 914 "speedster" for sale in LA and listed on Craigslist (where else?).  While at first glance the concept is an interesting one, the actual execution leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the $10k asking price.   Click the image above, or here, to read more about this unique 914 for sale.
This Is The World's First Porsche Designed Vehicle
It may not look like much, but this is the car that started it all.  While we all know that the 356 Gmünd was the first full production vehicle to wear a Porsche badge, the 1898 Egger-Lohner electric vehicle, C.2 Phaeton model (referred to as the "P1") is the very first vehicle designed by Ferdinand Porsche. Recently discovered in original and unrestored condition, this piece of Porsche history has sat untouched in an Austrian warehouse since 1902. The speed and range on the P1 are actually quite impressive (it has a longer all-electric range than the Porsche 918).  Learn more about this recently discovered piece of Porsche history and how you can see if yourself.
