Last week Porsche sent our a press release about their ongoing motorsport endeavors that was chock full of information. One nugget buried on page 2 of the release was additional information on the engine to be used in their 2014 LMP1 endeavors and the impact it would have on upcoming production development in the future. In

Porsche's "Night of Champions" was held this weekend at the Casino in
Porsche's R&D Complex in Weissach. Among other things Porsche confirmed their 2014 Factory driver lineup. For the upcoming season, Porsche has signed on 20 drivers including four Porsche juniors and a scholarship candidate chosen from the international one-make race series. This brings the factory driver squad to its highest level ever.
