The Porsche fans that followed motorsports in the 70s and 80s will surely be aware of the Whittington Brothers.  Don and Bill Whittington, on the race track, were best known for their exploits in a number of 935 turbo terrors in IMSA GT racing on this side of the Atlantic, as well as the famous overall victory in 1979 at Le Mans with Klaus Ludwig on the other side of the Atlantic. Off the track, however, the pair are more well known for their legal troubles, and it appears those haven't slowed down as they've aged.

For a little while now, we've been seeing prototypes and hearing rumors about the new 991 Targa and the fact that it's bringing back the full width roof opening not seen since the 964 generation.  This sounded less than optimal to some, as the primary reason for converting to a retractable glass roof in the 993 was electrical operation convenience.  How would Porsche justify selling a car that required the owner to fiddle with a removable top again? This might be the answer.

Actor Paul Walker & Racer Roger Rodas Dead After Fiery Carrera GT Crash
