A 50th Anniversary 911 Meet Its Predecessors Pictorial
Porsche talks a lot about how the design of the 911 has "evolved" and the "DNA" remains the same.  It's one thing to say it. It's another to see it.  That's exactly what we'll show you in this pictorial post courtesy of FLATSIXES.com photographer Brett Sloan.  You see, Brett had a 50th Anniversary 991, an '89 911 25th anniversary edition and an early short wheel base model in his showroom in CT.  He agreed to photograph them all together for us so we could see the "evolution" first hand.  Check out his pictures and read our post on how these 3 Porsches compare to one another.
Sovereignty: Supreme Power or Authority

Technology introduced on new, higher-end Porsches usually makes it way down the food chain over time. Right now the new 911 GT3 offers rear wheel steering and the 911 Turbo S offer both rear wheel steering and adaptive aerodynamics. So look for options like these on lesser 911s in the near future. For now, watch as August Achleitner, 911 Product Director, discusses these two technologies and how their seamless integration is an advantage on both racetracks and normal roads.
A Video Tribute To Fallen Porsche Racer, Sean Edwards
Tribute to Sean Edwards
The crew at /DRIVE put together a video tribute to fallen driver Sean Edwards. The video simply shows Sean as the fun loving, affable guy he was. What hit me was when they show Sean's helmet resting on the tribute car. If you look closely, you can see the sticker on Sean's helmet memorializing Allan Simonsen (who died in a crash during the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans). Eerie.
Porsche 911 Carrera To Be Featured On 'The Price is Right: Dream Car Week'
As the longest running game show in the US, there's a good chance you've watched an episode of "The Price is Right" at some point in the past.  However, the chance you witnessed someone having the chance to win a Porsche are slim.  In fact, while I can't say for certain, I can think of only three (3) instances where a Porsche was offered as a prize on the show and only two (2) were won (and one of those contestants allegedly cheated to win ).  So, you may want to tune in this coming week when a Porsche 991 Carrera is just one of five amazing cars available to win during the week.  Click here, or the image above, for more details.

See for yourself in the video in this post.
