A lot of times when we decide to go out for a ride we'll take the "back way" to where ever we're going in order to enjoy some "spirited" driving and then come home via the quickest route which usually involves a trip on the highway.   I'm usually hyper alert during the spirited drive portion of our trip but then tend to fall into routine on the highway.  The video in this post shows exactly why you need to be alert at all times.  The combination of quick thinking, good reaction time and a Porsche to handle the steering input is what saved this Porsche owner from near certain disaster.
