A Porsche Fan's Guide to the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Porsche LMP1 Le Mans
The motorsport racing event of the year is just days away and there's a lot to know and absorb if you want to follow along.  Fortunately for you, we've put together this great guide, just for Porsche fans, detailing the teams, the drivers and the competition along with who, what and where to watch.
Twitter Might Just be the Best Way to Follow the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Porsche LMP1 Le Mans
Even if you're fortunate enough to be at the race in person, it's still impossible to keep up with everything that's going on in Porsche's world.  Fortunately, technology, especially Twitter, makes things easier.  What's even better? We've compiled a list of all the official and unnofficial Twitter accounts you should follow in order to stay up to speed on what's happening before, during and after the 24 Hours of Le Mans.  You can even follow your favorite Porsche driver and get behind the scenes insight unavailable anywhere else.
Porsche 911 S Cabriolet vs. Jaguar F-Type V8S vs. Aston VV8 Vantage Roadster
Porsche v Jag v Aston
If you're a Porsche fan and you use Google, you've probably seen Jaguar ads pop up any time you search on something 911 related.  We sure do!  We suspect that Jaguar is using keyword targeting to actively solicit Porsche fans in an attempt to convert them to the new F-Type.  Chris Harris is never one to pull punches, so we found this video of him comparing the Jaguar against a new 911 S Cab and a V8 Aston Martin pretty telling.

Porsche's Driven the 918 Spyder Prototypes Nearly 1,000,000 Miles
Testing the 918 in Valley of Fire
If I could come back as anything in another life it would either be as a Porsche test engineer or Chris Harris (see post up above).  Besides showing us more of the Porsche 918 Spyder the following video has one very interesting moment.  Right around 40 seconds the driver seems to switch to all electric mode.  He then applies power, lots of power, and the transition from electric to combustion engine is seamless. This should help take away from any detractors concerned with how Porsche is mating the two drive system.
