Calling all Cars! Be On The Lookout for This 1968 Polizei 911
1968 Porsche 911 Polizei
Porsche started producing Polizeiautos, for the European market, based on the 356 and continued to do so through 1966.  It wasn't until 1968 that Porsche began producing police vehicles from 911 and 912 models.  The siren-wagon featured in this post is a 1968 soft-window targa built specifically to show American police forces that the 911 could be a viable option for their fleets. It was never meant to be sold. However, things don't always turn out the way they were meant to.

Watch this Video of Leh Keen Lapping the 'Ring' in the Rain at Your Own Risk
Watch This Insane Rain Dance Around the Nürburgring
This video isn't shot using a fixed mount Go-Pro or the equivalent.  Instead, the driver (Leh Keen) has a camera mounted helmet that lets you see exactly what he's seeing.  As a result, as he reacts to the G-Forces, so does the camera.  It's hard to comprehend the skills required to drive like this.  I'd be scared driving the "Ring" in the best of conditions.  I can't even imagine doing it in the dark of night, with rain coming down faster than the wipers can clear amongst a myriad of competitors.
