It was another incredibly cold and long winter here in New England but spring has sprung and we have that familiar itch to get back behind the wheel. Rumors of an imminent move to Porsche by Australian F1 driver Mark Webber have been all over the internet for months now. After trouble with his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, during the Malaysian GP, the rumors picked up and lent credence to them as well. We reached out to Porsche for info and to ask if they could confirm the veracity of these rumors. We've updated our post accordingly.

The new 991 RSR made its racing debut this weekend in Silverstone. We have more than 20 pictures of Porsche's newest factory effort and a race report including full results and standings.  Porsche's Photos and Video from "free practice" at the World Endurance Championship in Silverstone

Porsche spent the weekend of the race working on the set-up of their two 991 RSRs. It rained during practice while the forecast for race day called for dry weather. This made set-up extremely difficult as it's near impossible to dial in a race car in wet conditions when planning for dry. We have 25 pictures plus a video Porsche sent us that was made during qualifying. It looks like the Porsche pilots enjoyed their down time too!
