Last week Porsche debuted the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 to North America. By now you know most of the GT3's details but it was still exciting to see it in person and we took some great photos for you too. However, what was really fun was the birthday party celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 911 the night before the press conference.

You may remember our story about Mike Holtzclaw and his 4000 mile journey from Alaska to the PCA Parade. He's an adventurous guy. Well, Yoav Gilad got it in his head to take a similar trip.  Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Officially Revealed

After lots of speculation, spy shots and previews, the new 911 RSR was quietly revealed at the Paul Ricard track in Le Castellet, France. Designed to compete in the World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours the 911 GT3 RSR puts delivers 460 hp via a 4.0 liter boxer engine and six speed, paddle shifted transmission.

 Porsche Takes Top Honors in the World Car Awards at the NYIAS

The 2nd press day at the New York International Auto Show started off with a breakfast hosted by Bridgestone Corporation followed immediately by a press conference where the Porsche Boxster and Cayman were named 2013 World Performance Car as part of the World Car Awards (WCA).

Falken Tire's livery in the ALMS is fairly well known at this point. In fact, earlier this year we even detailed how the Team Falken Tire livery is painted unlike most others.
