VIDEO FROM 2 OF ITALY'S BEST TRACKS SHOW US WHAT THE 991 GT2 RS IS CAPABLE OF |
Footage of the latest GT2 RS driven hard is quite scarce at this point. However, there is one fortunate soul who's been kind enough to soothe our frustrations and show us what the meanest production Porsche ever is capable of. He goes by the name of "Powerslide Lover" on social
media.

Porsche came into Long Beach, the shortest race of the year, on a positive note from Sebring, on of the longest races of the season. How did they do?

PORSCHE SPRING START UP STEPS |
Will winter never end? While we avoided all of the "four easters" here in the Northeast (we were away in Florida for the season), many in our Porsche community weren't so lucky. In fact, just yesterday, on April 15th, it snowed. Our 911s sit in storage awaiting a bit of rain to wash the salt from the road and we can't
even install summer tires on our Cayenne yet. Despite our "hardships", many of you are thinking about getting your Porsche(s) ready to go back on the road.

PORSCHE BEGINS 2018 WITH EVEN MORE GROWTH |
NEWEST VIDEO FROM PORSCHE SPANS 70-YEARS IN JUST 9 MINUTES AND 11 SECONDS |
The latest edition of the 9:11 video magazine covers a lot of ground in not much time, and the segments which bookend it are incredibly interesting and different from another. If Matt Hummel's well worn 356 is pastoralism, then the Mission E trends closer to science fiction. Whether that science fiction is hopeful or
dystopian really hinges on your opinion of autonomous cars. To get great works of those genres from a single author would be remarkable.

IF PORSCHE WERE GOING TO ATTEMPT TO BREAK THE NÜRBURGRING LAP RECORD, JUST HOW FAST WOULD THE 919 EVO HAVE TO BE? |
Ever since Porsche started hinting at the fact that they'd be aiming for track records in 2018, we've been discussing the possibility of using the 919 Hybrid LMP1 to tackle the Nürburgring lap record that has been unbeaten since 1983.

CAN PORSCHE'S 964 CARRERA 4 BE AS FUN TO DRIVE AS THE C2? |
As the prices of 993s and impact-bumper Porsches have gone through the roof lately, the 964 was seen as the last remaining 'inexpensive' air-cooled. With increased interest came higher prices. Today, pricing for 964 Carrera 2 coupes have followed a "hockey stick" type trajectory, while their Carrera 4 and Cabriolet
cousins have risen only slightly. That begs the question,

NO SHOES ALLOWED: HOW I GOT TO RIDE ALONG IN A 959 AT SONOMA RACEWAY |
A couple weeks ago, during 'HooptieCon' at Sonoma Raceway, I was given the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat of a gorgeous 4,700 mile Porsche 959 as it ran a paced parade lap. You wouldn't normally expect to see Porsche's pinnacle of 1980s engineering excellence participate in an event called HooptieCon, but
this is a truly special event.

THIS ROCS RESTOMOD 911 IS THE ANTITHESIS OF SINGER |
If, as the the saying goes, the devil is in the details, then this 1977 Porsche 911S is positively satanic. Every inch of this Porsche is festooned with details you would never notice if it wasn't pointed out. In the same way that Singer re-imagines every single component of their customized 911s for ultimate
perfection, New Jersey shop ROCS has done the same thing.
