INSIDE THE BOXER ENGINE WITH HANS MEZGER |
Hans Mezger is 88 years old, and his career designing engines spans decades. Mezger's hands were in everything from the 1960's Porsche Formula 1 racers to the 911 GT1. His engines remained in 911s through the 997 GT3 4.0 and 997.1 Turbo. It really feels as though everything Porsche produced since is compared to the
Mezger flat-sixes.

BAD TRACK ETIQUETTE: MCLAREN BLOCKS CAYMAN GT4 |
There are occasional track days when some people don't give way to those who clearly deserve to run ahead. The governing bodies try to filter the fast from the slow, but introducing lots of horsepower, conceit, and a narrow track can complicate things further.

HOW DOES THE TURBOCHARGER IN YOUR PORSCHE WORK? |
If you're a Porsche fanatic, chances are pretty great that some of your favorite cars from the brand's history are turbocharged. A lot of their greatest hits are powered by engines with exhaust-driven forced induction. Not only was Porsche a pioneer in turbocharged race cars, but they were among the first companies to
sell a turbocharged street car as well.

PORSCHE'S EV NETWORK WILL CHARGE YOU FOR A CHARGE |
Tesla rose to fame, at least in part, by building a huge cross-country network of super-fast charging stations, and offering their customers free use of those stations for a limited time. It was partially a marketing exercise to draw in clients with inexpensive operating costs. Even now that Tesla has saddled their
entry-level Model 3 customers with charging costs, and has begun to roll back those charging subsidies for Model S and Model X owners, they are still giving their customers a charge for essentially the cost of the electricity. Tesla does not believe in operating their Supercharger system as a profit center.

FEELS FAMILIAR: A TURBOCHARGED 911SC |
Derek Whitacre and I seem to have similar priorities. Not all fun performance cars need to be set up for the track. Give up a little bit of spring rate, retain a bit of carpet, and suddenly the usability factor goes way, way up. That's not to say Mr. Whitacre's 1982 911SC is a mild or modest
machine.

DRIVING 180 MPH ON THE AUTOBAHN |
Is there a better experience for a Porsche sports car than to take the unrestricted Autobahn to the Nürburgring, and then take the unrestricted Autobahn back home again when you're done?

FIRING UP A TWIN-TURBO GM V8 IN A CLASSIC 911 |
FIRST ON-TRACK REVIEW OF THE GT2 RS |
The new rear-wheel-drive, turbocharged, Nürburgring-owning ÜberPorsche, the GT2 RS, is an intensely interesting beast. As cars are currently being delivered to customers, very few video reviews have as yet been released, and none of them have featured any on-track driving.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF PORSCHE AWD |
With all four wheels intelligently propelling certain model Porsches up the road, astronomical amounts of power and torque can be harnessed by the least experienced drivers in the most treacherous conditions. As it turns out, this system was pioneered in one of Porsche's first racing cars, taken rallying, and then
later honed through decades of high-performance road cars.
