There are now eight families of 911. There are the original Carreras, the GTS, the Targa 4, the Turbo, the Turbo S Exclusive Series, the GT3, the GT2 RS, and now the 911 T. If you count each body style family variant individually, there are now 23 distinct 911s to choose from. Where does the new 911 T fit in?

For those looking for a leaner, more focused, and more athletic version of the 718, the newest GTS is on the horizon.

Porsches return to the Targa Florio in this video, and it's glorious. The 718 RSK won some of Porsche's first major motorsport victories in the late 1950s in the Targa Florio, and bringing its namesake there is all too appropriate. In the capable hands of Dario Franchitti and CJ Wilson, no small talent behind the wheel himself, the Boxster and Cayman GTS look magnificent on the winding roads of Italy.

GT2s excepted, the 964 was the last "widowmaker" 911 Turbo. Lots of power, lots of boost, and trailing arm rear suspension made for a much trickier Porsche than the 993 Turbo which followed. Even stock, this is a car that wants you dead.
