First held in 1927, the Falperra International Hill Climb follows a 3.2 mile course, climbing 860 vertical feet, to the summit of Falperra in Bragua, Portugal. In this video, driver António Nogueira catapults his 993 GT2 up the course in a manner that belies its extreme value and
rarity.

PORSCHE DESIGN'S BLUETOOTH SPEAKER: 60 WATTS OF PASSION, 911% ENTHUSIASM |
I've said it before and I'll say it again, my love of Porsche was not at first sight, it was love at first sound! I was 13, it was the early '80s and an air-cooled 911 was threading its way through my neighborhood. As it passed me, the driver looked over, smiled and grabbed another gear as he accelerated away. The
sonorous sound coming from that muffler was all it took. I was hooked from that moment on. That's why I was so excited last year when Porsche Design sent us their 911 Soundbar to review. Music from a
Porsche exhaust system? What a perfect combination. The only problem was the price. It was simply too expensive for many.

Rod Emory is known for his incredible Outlaw 356 creations. Recently he teamed up with Vintage Electric to create an electric bike that features some of his signature touches. So, when it came time for this past weekend's Emory
Porsche Campout, Rod needed a way to get himself, his 356, his luggage and two bikes from California to Oregon. Who better than Rod and his team of skilled fabricators to design and build a custom trailer specifically for the task.

THIS VIDEO OF A 906 CARRERA ON THE DYNO IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS WE'VE SEEN AND HEARD IN A LONG TIME |
Forget about "production values". Forget about drone shots. Most of all, forget about all those nauseating quick cuts that so many of today's "polished" youtube videos seem to feature. I don't know if those shooting methods are necessary to
keep people's attention, or if it's a function that the content just isn't that great and they're trying to cover it up. Regardless, that's not the case with this video. In fact, it's the complete opposite. One camera. One angle. No special effects. No drifting. No voiceover or anything else. The only soundtrack is that of a Porsche 906's flat-six engine as it works through the gears.

THE RIGHT WAY TO REPLACE THE ROOF OF A 964 |
On air-cooled 911s the drip rail is the visible part of the joint between the roof and the structure of the car. The craftsman tackling this roof replacement on Larry Kosilla's 964, a 50-year metalworking veteran, carefully separates the old roof from the car, and opens the channel in the rain
gutter.

4 THINGS PORSCHE FANS CAN LOOK FORWARD TO AT THE 2018 AMELIA ISLAND CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE |
It may be nearly 7-months away, but that doesn't mean you can't start thinking about it now. Each year the Amelia Island Concours chooses a featured marque to celebrate and while its been Porsche a number of times in the past, that's not the case for 2018. Instead, they also host a number of special classes that
cars are entered into. This year there are eleven special classes.

IS THE 911R WORTH $500,000 |
I struggle with the collector car market. On one level, it's nice to see great cars finally getting their due on the open market. The obvious counterpoint is that "getting their due" often means pushing prices beyond reason. The higher up in the market you go, the harder the curve has accelerated in recent years. As
the 911R shows, this trend is starting to apply to all limited production Porsches, even recent ones. Why then, does the 911R trade for nearly triple its original price after just a year?
