When the first 911 Turbo Carreras came to the United States in 1975, they produced 234 horsepower. In 1975, that was the most potent street legal 911 money could buy. Fast forward to 2017, and the most powerful street legal 911 produces 700 horsepower and that's just for starters.

OUR FAVORITE PORSCHES ON EBAY: VOLUME 89 |
We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week's mix should have a little something for everyone. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more
financial harm than good.

5 EVERYDAY WAYS TO USE LAUNCH CONTROL |
I don't know what it is about this video that made me laugh so hard, but it did. Perhaps it's the look on the cop's face. Maybe it's the idea of just trying something like this in a drive-thru. At a funeral? Maybe not so much. But, you
could!

WHICH PORSCHE WILL BECOME COLLECTIBLE NEXT? |
Most Porsche fans I talk to spend a lot of time "browsing". They look through classifieds, they look on eBay, they peruse various forums, everyone always seems to be looking for their next Porsche. I know I'm guilty of doing that. I've been after
a 996 Turbo Cab and a nice driver 914 for quite a while. In fact, I had a deposit on a 996 Turbo Cab earlier in the year before that deal went sideways after a few surprises were brought to light during the PPI. With all the browsing I've been doing lately and the current state of the Porsche market it got me to thinking. What model Porsche will be the next big collector's item?

TESTING THE MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 S |
We have a close relationship with Michelin. Project Boxster uses a Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, Michelin has brought us to launches in the past, and we are working with Michelin on Project 944 GTS.
To launch the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S, the replacement for the vaunted Pilot Super Sport, Michelin brought us to Palm Springs, California. The launch centered around The Thermal Club; a private race course which is among the longest in the United States. Our introduction to the
new tire included a three hour street drive through Joshua Tree, an autocross session, and some track time at the Thermal Club's North Palm Circuit.

A 911 THAT CAN'T BE DRIVEN SLOWLY... IN THE
WET |
Where is Leh Keen when you need him? While it would have been wonderful to see him at the wheel of
this 911, that is not where his services were most needed. For the first time in a "One Take" video that we can remember, Matt stumbled across the scene of an accident. The owner of the Chevrolet Malibu Matt Farah found in a ditch during the drive needed Leh's help much more. Fortunately no one was hurt. The experience magnified how badly the 911 Matt was testing wants to bite back.
