However, Porsche is no stranger to them either. Officially, Porsche put a toe in the water of art cars with their exhibition of 24 painted GT2
bonnets at their Museum in late 2011. Unofficially, Porsche has been knee deep in that world for a long time. Perhaps the most famous of which is Janis Joplin's 356. Now, long-time friend and

Jake Eidson, 21, of Littleton, Colorado is the newest member of 2016 IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup championship winning team, Kelly-Moss Road and Race and the newest contributor to FLATSIXES.com. Eidson's resume was developed in both open-wheel and sports car racing, with highlights that include winning
the 2013 Team USA Scholarship and more recently, the Hurley Haywood Scholarship, which landed him a full-season ride with Kelly-Moss Road and Race for 2017. Eidson will be the one to keep an eye on during the 2017 IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge season.

Out of six Porsches ranging from a pair of 930s to a GT3 RS, this 1974 911 Targa is Romi Mirza's favorite. A Porsche is not by its nature modest, but in that company this Targa is certainly humble. Romi had this example fully restored, from the sounds of it by Porsche Classic, and he drives it. He drives it a lot, as
he says "like a Porsche is meant to be driven." Most importantly though, is its color.

Our local Porsche Club meets each month at PineScone Café in Pinehurst, NC. It's the normal scene with coffee and scones while we all tell lies about our Porsches and how quick we are. If we were really as fast as we said we were, Roger Penske and Chip Ganassi would be hanging out drinking coffee with us scouting
talent! Last week we took a surprise trip to a drag strip to put those bragging rights to the test.
