We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week's mix should have a little something for everyone. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) announced April 2017 sales of 5,529 vehicles yesterday. This represents a 2.2% increase over the same period last year. Year-to-date, sales are up 3.4% over last year with a total of 18,247 vehicles delivered.

Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL), reported today sales of 830 units for the month of April 2017. 

You don’t see that many 904s these days, even less often racing, and almost never racing at night as in this image. But in 2002, then almost 40 years old, they were again on the track at Le Mans. It was the inaugural year of the Le Mans Classic, a most remarkable vintage race featuring old cars on the full course, which was remarkably re-opened just for this event, and we were lucky enough to be there with friends.

A first corner, first lap pile-up involving a big part of the GTLM class played a big role in this weekend's race.  How did Porsche do? No spoilers here. 

It wasn't even two months ago that Porsche's GT Department head, Andreas Preuninger, mentioned how he and his team were no longer focused on lap-times. Fast forward to today, and it's possible he spoke just a bit too soon as Porsche sent us a press release titled, "7 minutes, 12.7 seconds: The 911 GT3 sets a new best time". The "best time" that title's referring to? That's the time it took the new 911 GT3 to get around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Late last week Porsche quietly issued a voluntary recall of 51,497 Macan, Macan S, Macan GTS, and Macan Turbo models in the U.S. The Macans in question are those manufactured from March 4, 2014 to April 14, 2017 (so pretty much the entire production run to date). Utilizing the sales figures provided by PCNA, and published here on FLATSIXES.com, we show roughly 47,143 Macans delivered during the same time period. That makes it seem as if this recall affects every Macan currently on the road. That's the bad news.

The latest episode of the [HOONIGAN] series "A Beer With" features Porsche factory racing driver Patrick Long. Very few of us will ever have the chance at a beer with Patrick, so we are grateful to the [HOONIGAN] crew for allowing us one, or three, by proxy. Watch for answers to important questions from Patrick, including how to pronounce "Porsche," are 911s a hipster car, and the all-important 959 or 918.

As most who read this site know, Luftgekühlt is the brainchild of Porsche factory driver Patrick Long and Southern California creative director Howie Idelson. Now in its fourth iteration, this year's Luftgekühlt was a smashing success. We had two (2) photographers on hand to document all the air-cooled goodness for those who couldn't attend.
