During the Second World War the RAF reportedly buried a squadron of still-crated Supermarine Spitfires in Burma. These planes have never been found, and many consider them to be more myth than reality. Though numerous Spitfires exist, none remain in as-delivered condition. Finds like the lost squadron are exceedingly rare, and they're a unique window into the past.

PRESTON HENN, SWAP SHOP ENTREPRENEUR & PORSCHE COLLECTOR DEAd AT 86 |
Preston Henn, perhaps best known as the colorful and eccentric entrepreneur who founded the Swap Shop Flea Market and Drive-in just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away on Sunday at his home. He was 86 years of age. While not a household name in the world of Porsche, and his car collection certainly covered
other marques, Henn's love of Porsche goes back decades and is chronicled in the annals of Porsche motorsport.

REVIEW OF THE 2017 PORSCHE MACAN BASE MODEL |
Recently, YouTube darling Nick Murray brought his 991 into the dealer for some routine service. As his Porsche would be at the shop for a couple of days the dealer provided Nick with a loaner, in this case it was the base level Macan. Like any good youtuber Nick immediately hooked up his cameras, threw his pups and
mascot in the backseat and started to record.

ON THE TRACK TWICE WITH THE NEW GT3 |
When I was first coming of age as a "Car Guy" I loved the 996 GT3. To my eye it was the first 996 to look "right," and it was powered by that wonderful Mezger six. To a teenager, what could be cooler than a factory hot-rod 911? Since the early 2000s the GT3 has evolved dramatically, and has made itself a staple of
performance car comparisons, and a perennial enthusiast favorite. The latest version, which we saw in
the flesh at the NYIAS, is just starting to make the rounds with automotive journalists.

ROD EMORY IS VENTURING INTO THE WORLD OF ELECTRIC POWER |
No, it's not a Porsche. No, it's not even a car. Rod Emory's latest project is a collaboration with Vintage Electric; a bicycle company. As Rod puts it, Vintage Electric approaches bicycles the way he approaches Porsches.

WATCH A PORSCHE CAYENNE TOW AN AIRBUS A380 TO SET GUINNESS WORLD RECORD |

The Cayenne is a capable platform for many different pursuits. Depending on the model in question, and your appetite for adventure, the Cayenne performs well off-road and on the track. What's even more surprising to some is the Cayenne's ability to haul or tow. Even the "lowly" V-6 model has a tow rating of 7700 lbs.
That's more than sufficient for most small boats, race trailers and most small to medium size RVs. In fact, we routinely use our Cayenne to tow everything from Jet-Skis to our 26' bow-rider. We have, however, always stayed within Porsche's recommended tow-limit ratings.
