We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week's mix should have a little something for everyone. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

Meet Sal, Jackie and Helga (their 1984 911 Carrera that had certain needs, at least according to Sal). When Sal was first introduced to Helga, he didn’t see her as she was then. Instead, Sal saw the most beautiful Mexico Blue 911 customized to his taste. He simply had to help his wife, Jackie, see the same vision!

I have good news, and I have bad news. Fortunately the good news is very good, and the bad news is really not all that bad. The bad news: Porsche didn't launch a single unique new model at the New York International Auto Show(NYIAS). All four models are cars we knew about from prior shows and releases. The good news is that all of these models are exciting additions to Porsche's North American lineup which offer new levels of performance and personalization to the Porsche range. New York saw the North American debuts of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and Sport Turismo, 911 GTS and 911 GT3. As most of these models are familiar to our readers, let's talk about the New York International Auto Show as a whole before we get into these models in a bit more depth.

While the picture of this flame throwing GT1 on its way to victory at Spa is fantastic in its own right, the story that Leonard Turner recounts to introduce and explain it eclipses the image in almost every way.

As a long-term Cayenne owner I found the video in this post very interesting. While it doesn't mirror my ownership experience exactly, it is very similar.  We bought our 2009 Cayenne in 2010. At the time it had 18,000 miles on it, came with the remainder of Porsche's factory warranty, and was CPO'd, as well. Since that time we've added over 140,000 miles for a grand total of 158k+ miles on the odometer. The vast majority of those miles have been trouble free and include numerous cross country road-trips with ourselves and the dogs.

Over the last few weeks and months we've heard a lot about Porsche and their relationship with the video game world. For years EA Sports held an exclusive license with Porsche. However, that all changed last year. Since then, we've seen a number of new options with regard to the inclusion of Porsche in various video games and simulators including, Gran Turismo Sport, iRacing, Assetto Corsa and, most recently, Forza. Last week we learned that Porsche could potentially field its own Factory "e-drivers" in eSport Motorsport Events.

Some Porsches are heady, brutal machines straight from the factory. Cars like the 911 GT2, or the 930 need to be taken by the scruff of the neck and shown who is boss. Thanks to their mid-engined layout and more modest powerplants the Cayman feels to be a more benign car than its big brothers. Like many of us, however, Road Scholars saw this gifted platform and thought "what if we turned it up to eleven?" 

Yammie Noob is a YouTube vlogger who creates and promotes content about riding motorcyles. He's popular enough that he's amassed over 138,000 subscribers in a very short period of time. Unfortunately, he also appears to be a bit reckless having suffered two, in my opinion, very avoidable crashes over what looks to be just a short 6-months. While I'm not a fan, nor do I subscribe, his name popped up on my radar when a reader forwarded the picture you see above.
