As the forward says, this isn't a history book and it's not a work of reference. Instead, 111 Porsche Stories That You Should
Know is just that, a compilation of tales, anecdotes and magical treasures about our favorite marque, many of which may surprise you. At just over $21 dollars, this is a great value and would be a welcome addition to any Porsche library.

OUR FAVORITE PORSCHES ON EBAY: VOLUME 82 |
We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week's mix should have a little something for everyone. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more
financial harm than good.

ANY IDEA WHAT THIS NEW MODEL IS THAT PORSCHE KEEPS TEASING? |
Last week, Porsche dropped their latest Top 5 Video featuring five four of the most
memorable Porsche Exclusive models they've ever produced. Interestingly enough, at the end of the video, Porsche teases an upcoming Exclusive model to be launched at some point in 2017. What is it? Is it wearing Camo under the car cover? It looks huge!

NEW COLORS, CONNECTIVITY AND POWER FOR THE 911S |
Porsche is launching numerous extras and new colors for 2018 models. The biggest change is a 30-hp power -pack which can be specified as an ex-works extra for new cars or retrofitted to older 911S variants. Most of the other options center around improving Porsche Connect, and enhancing the
range of services available using that service. In addition, several new interior and exterior colors are available across the model range, including a new 911 exclusive.

THE LAST TURN - A WHALE OF A TAIL |
One of the many happy bits of fortune experienced by Leonard Turner over the years was the chance to see one of the four Turbo Carreras Porsche ran at Watkins Glen in 1974. The image above was shot there. In this week's "The Last Turn", Leonard recounts the history of this incredible car, how it fought against bigger
displacement rivals and the need for that massive and visually striking tail. .

THERE'S A NEW PORSCHE PROJECT ON KICKSTARTER AND IT'S WORTH A LOOK |
Porsche enthusiasts have never been short of art pieces to indulge their automotive passions, but unique pieces which truly capture one's passion are worthy of special attention. Inside the Block was initiated by a pair of designers in Munich with a passion for the 911. Their latest series of sculptures distills the form of the classic 911 down to its most basic elements, and can be customized to evoke famous Porsche racers, or even your personal car.

WAIT! THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU THINK IT IS! |
Sorry, that title isn't meant to be "click-bait". Instead, it was to keep you from zooming past in the event you thought you've seen this video before. Most of you know that as a friend of FLATSIXES.com we've featured Jack Olsen's car before, and he has written for us in the past.
More to-the-point, for most of you, this won't be the first time seeing Jack's 12 Gauge Garage. However, this may be the first time you'll see it with the reasoning behind each design decision, straight from Jack. It's a video he produced and
provides numerous insights we haven't seen before.

PROJECT BOXSTER CLUBSPORT: PART 20 - REAR SUSPENSION BRACING |
The 1997 '986' Porsche Boxster is notoriously under braced at the rear subframe. Porsche issued a technical bulletin regarding the use of 18" wheels on 1997 modelSs, stating that it was inadvisable because of the changes made in 1998. We've been using 18" GT3-spec wheels for over a year despite this warning. We've
been lucky thus far, but figured it was time to address this potential issue. Preventing a stress fracture from cropping up seemed important. Rear lower and upper strut braces were ordered up.
