We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week's mix should have a little something for everyone. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

When Porsche introduced their new "Top 5 Series" on YouTube, I was cautiously optimistic. In their trailer, they promised to provide us with a "whole new level of sports car history". That sounded great to me. Watch the first episode below, it features a 964 Turbo S, a 924 Carrera GTS, a 911 GT1, a 911 SC/RS and a 356 American Roadster.

The image you see above was made in late 1990, one of many from an extraordinary press trip launching the new 1991 Turbo. The green color of the car is striking, even more so when complimented by the verdant background.  The thing is, according to some sources, Porsche has produced at least 63 different greens. Did this particular green ever make it into production?

Retromobile just concluded in Paris and there were Porsches on auction from RM Sotheby's, Bohnams and Artcurial.  Bidding and sell-through were both excellent and we saw a new world record set during the RM Sotheby's auction for a 959 Sport.

Ok, maybe the title is a little over the top, but we think you'll find contributor Ronald Sieber's sarcasm is well warranted after listening to the announcers talk over the sounds of the big Group 5 engines. Fortunately, the Kraken, or something, gets to them and we eventually get to hear the mighty song of Porsche's flat-12 917. 

Some of you may have seen Beyonce's pictures announcing she is pregnant with twins. One of them, that's it above, had her posing on a 914 as part of the spread.  Well, shortly after that post was published, another 914 owner was inspired to respond with satire.  That's his image at the top.  We managed to track him down, we found him in Idaho, and we'll be posting more images and the story behind the pictures later today.
