9 Reasons The 2017 911 Turbo is Better Than Ever
Two weeks ago Porsche invited a group of journalists to Thunderhill Raceway for some serious seat time in the 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S.  If that weren't enough, each attendee was handed the keys for a week of "normal" driving.  Our newest contributor was amongst them. Here are the 9 reasons Pete thinks the 911 Turbo is better than ever

Our Favorite Porsches on eBay: Volume 65
We've been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. We recently started publishing our picks once a week instead of our prior bi-weekly schedule, in an effort to bring you more exciting Porsche auction action. Check back often for different cars! This weekend, I spent a lot of time with the 912 Registry at their West Coast Rendezvous event, and fell in love with the little four-cylinder Porsche all over again. Keeping that in mind, I found a quartet of 912s that are ready for new owners, as well as a rare and exciting 911 for you this week.  Some of these cars could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

There were well over 100 Porsches available at auction and more than $20,000,000 recorded in sales.  We have the run down on each and every lot including their sale price vs. their pre-auction estimates in this post

NorCal Treffen is The Best Air-Cooled Show You've Never Heard Of!
Following our Saturday trip to the EASY open house, we woke up Sunday morning ready to venture out and see some more cars. Just a few miles NorthEast of the bay is a sleepy little town called Concord. The show, one we've been to before, is called NorCal Treffen, and it is one of the coolest air-cooled shows you've never heard of. Here's why.

Video Footage Catches Arsonist Setting a 911 on Fire!
Police and Fire were called to an East London neighborhood after two men were seen setting an air-cooled Porsche on fire. No word yet on why these criminals decided to vandalize the Porsche. Fortunately, a neighbor's security camera caught the two on video.

Porsche Stories From Around The Web
Despite our best efforts, it's not always possible for us to cover everything that's happening in the world of Porsche at any given time. It's almost as if the items worthy of note increase at some exponential rate as compared to the number of new Porsche owners and fans.  With that in mind, from time to time, we'll bring you a round-up of other Porsche related stories you might find of interest and link you to them.  If you read a story somewhere, or know of one you think might be of interest to our readers, please be sure to let us know by sending us a tip to storyideas@flatsixes.com
