This is Safari #2 From "The Keen Project". It's Awesome and Surprisingly Affordable!

Most of you already know professional driver Leh Keen and many of you are probably familiar with the red 911 Safari he built for himself.  However, what you probably didn't know is that he's built a second one and there's now a third one under construction.  You could have one, too.  Introducing "The Keen Project".

Porsche's Pictures, Video and Results From the 6 Hours of Silverstone

Porsche kicked off the 2016 FIA WEC season this weekend at Silverstone.  We won't give away the finish only to say that it was preceded by a massive crash involving one of the 919 Hybrid cars and a change in podium positions due to a post-race penalty. All the details, pictures and video are in this post.

What's the Next Collectible Porsche?
Is the current Porsche market a bubble?  There are many opinions on that and we could go either way.  However, regardless of what side you come down on, it's a safe bet to say that certain Porsches will always be more collectible than others.  So, with air-cooled 911s reaching astronomical prices and other "lesser" models starting to see some upward pricing pressure, where's a budding Porsche collector supposed to put their money these days?  Take a read through our post and add your voice to the comments.

The Last Turn - The Absence of Red
Red Porsches are seen on the cover of magazines more often than any other color for the simple reason that they sell more issues on the newstand. Why then, is this shot of a black 911 taken during the 2005 press introduction of the all new 997 models Leonard Turner's favorite of the trip? He explains why in this installment of "The Last Turn"

Is There A Self Driving Porsche on the Way?
A report last February in Reuters quoted Porsche CEO Oliver Blume as saying that Porsche had no plans to build a self-driving car.  Now, last week comes word that Porsche just hired away, from Garnter, one of the world's foremost experts on Vehicle Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Smart Mobility, Thilo Koslowski.  His new role at Porsche reports directly to Oliver Blume and includes responsibilities for implementing innovative technologies in the area of autonomous vehicles, among other things.  Could we see a self driving Porsche after all

We Still Can't Believe Brendon Hartley's 919 LMP1 Didn't Flip During This Crash
Crashes at any speed are scary, but a crash in a Le Mans LMP1 prototype during an overtaking maneuver is another level of scary. What's amazing to me is that the very 911 Brendon hits while trying to pass is the reason this accident wasn't worse than it was. Watch as Brendon's 919 turns onto its side. See how the 911's momentum carries it into the 919 and turns the LMP1 car back upright? This could have been much worse.
