This Documentary About Brumos Racing, Hurley Haywood and Peter Gregg Needs Your Support
One of the greatest teams in sports car racing history was an unstoppable duo, drivers Hurley Haywood and Peter Gregg won races together for a decade before tragedy
struck.
Hurley Haywood was just a college kid in 1969 when Peter Gregg recognized his talent and took him under his wing. Just a few years later, Haywood and Gregg won the 1973 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring back-to-back. But this early success was just the beginning. Nicknamed “Batman and Robin” by the racing press, the Brumos Porsche duo went on to win world
championship races together for nearly a decade. Fame and fortune followed the men. They lived seemingly perfect lives. But beneath the thrill and glamour of racing is a humanity that is often overlooked or misunderstood.
This documentary feature film will give a never-before-seen look at the private lives of legendary drivers Hurley Haywood and Peter Gregg and provide new perspective on
their meteoric rise to fame while attempting to find meaning in the untimely death of Peter Gregg.
The film is close to completion but there is still more work to be done. Here's how you can help bring it to the big screen and maybe even score a chance to be in the film yourself.

Enjoy! Doesn't Porsche's New Solar Pylon Looks Like A Tribute To "2001: A Space
Odyssey"? I'd like to think that someone at Porsche is a fan of Kubrick and Clarke and the resemblance of their newest construction project to the
monolith in "2001: A Space Odyssey" isn't just a coincidence. Regardless, this new "photovoltaic pylon" is a technological marvel that not only showcases Porsche's commitment to eHybrid technology, but has the capability to power their newest customer center, with enough electricity left over to offer free
"fill ups" to eHybrid owners. Details, pictures and a time-lapse of the completed construction project are available here. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll Enjoy!
