Did that just happen? Did we really just fly to the "Big Island" of Hawaii to be one of the first to drive the new Boxster Spyder? You bet we did and it was out of this world! Not only was the trip itself a
whirlwind, the new Spyder is all that and more. Check out our driving impressions and review in this post. Porsche Gift Ideas From Past Years

The Last Turn - 200+ MPH In A Carrera GT
Each image from Leonard Turner's wonderful archive of Porsche photographs is a story in its own right. However, thanks to copious note taking and a
flair for story telling, Leonard provides each of us with a window into history as he recounts what was happening in the world of Porsche at the time he made his image. Check out this week's "The Last Turn" as we go back to the 2003 press launch of the venerable Carrera GT. If you enjoy these
stories and images, please be sure to share them with your fellow Porsche and racing fans. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll Enjoy!

One of the best parts of our "Reader Submitted Pictures" is reading all the stories that go with them. Take the image above for example. In it is a well used and well loved '57 356A
Speedster. The best part is that at the time this photo was made, the Porsche was only 2-years old. Reader Robert Bellows took this picture on his way to Idaho after a 1959 race weekend in Gainesville, Georgia. His only nod to street driving convention was to put the muffler and the windshield back on prior to the road trip. Based on all the bugs and dirt we can see I think the windshield was a good idea.
We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time. If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com. Meet Rudy Mancinas, A Very Colorful Porsche Collector
Some collectors look to fill their garages with every year Porsche made a long-hood 911. Others, want a 356 from each
series. Rudy Mancinas is the first Porsche collector we've heard of that collects by color. Even more interesting, he's not after just one color, he wants them all. You see, Rudy's goal is to own every color Porsche delivered in the 964/993 generation. A fairly ambitious goal if you ask me, but based on what we can see in the video in this post it looks like he's well on his way. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll Enjoy!
