One Porsche Drive, The Experience Center In Atlanta, Makes Its Film Debut In New Captain America Movie!
Chances are that very few of your are as big a self proclaimed "nerd" as our own Bradley Brownell.  When the trailer for the new Captain America: Civil War debuted on Jimmy Kimmel's show last week, he immediately went to YouTube and watched it over and over looking for hints about what to expect in the upcoming film.  Well one image hit closer to home than he imagined.  You see, S.H.I.E.L.D. needs a new headquarters as theirs is currently a wreck and Stark Tower is basically destroyed.  What better building to chose than OPD? Watch for yourself. We're looking forward to seeing more when the full movie comes out!

The Last Turn - The Le Mans Start
Each image from Leonard Turner's wonderful archive of Porsche pictures is a story in its own right. However, thanks to copious note taking and a flair for story telling, Leonard provides each of us with a window into history as he recounts what was happening in the world of Porsche at the time he made his image.  Check out this week's "The Last Turn"  for the excitement of a Le Mans style start and a Porsche all but boxed in by its competitors.  If you enjoy these stories and images, please be sure to share them with your fellow Porsche and racing fans.

Reader Submitted Pictures
Reader António Garcia bought his '76 911 Targa from a friend.  He tells us his 2.7 liter Porsche is all original and in near perfect condition.  The beautiful shot above was taken in Portugal, near the Tagus River in Lisbon. The tower you can see in the background is the pilots building where they control the exits and arrivals of all ships traveling through the river.

We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time.   If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com.

Porsche Substitutes A 911 For Student's Driving Exam
Remember what it was like to take your driving exam? Your parents probably had you practicing on the family car and you got used to parallel parking based on the size of the family truckster.  Then, when time came to actually take the exam you were familiar with how your car handled and everything was a piece of cake.  Well, in Porsche's most recent video (yeah, it's a commercial) they take that notion and stand it on its head.  Watch what happens when they replace the car these students were used to driving with a new 911.  It's hilarious!
