Rennsport Reunion is the living, breathing embodiment of Porsche's racing heritage.  Perhaps no other car showcases that as well as the 917.  There were 13 of Porsche's mega race cars present at the event. Some were there just for show, some to race and a number of them did both.  Did you see them all?  We did and put together a  history of each car's provenance, along with pictures, in this all encompassing post.

Project Boxster Clubsport: Part 10 - Big Brakes, Spacers & Wheels Studs
Project Boxster Clubsport has some shiny new wheels and big sticky Michelins waiting to be put on (more on that in our next installment).  So, in anticipation of their installation we need to get a few things sorted out to make sure they'll fit and look good. To do that we're installing bigger brakes from a 2008 Cayman S, stainless steel reinforced brake hoses, brand new pads, properly sized wheel spacers and studs. Here's how we did it and what you need if you want to do it yourself.
Porsche's Worldwide Sales, By Country, For September 2015
After a great month for September, Porsche appears to be only a month or two away from hitting or breaking the 200,000 delivery mark.  Check out the chart and details in this post to see what country is selling the most Porsches so far this year. It might not be who you think.
What Is Your Porsche's Chassis And What Does It Do?
In this episode, of the /DRIVE channel's new /ENGINEERING series, you can watch and listen as Joey Seely, of BBI Motorsports, explains in detail the importance of a Porsche's chassis and how it can be made better and stronger. Not only can you learn a lot from this episode, Seely uses the mating of a Porsche 911 GT2 RS engine into a GT3 Cup chassis (used by Jeff Zwart in his Pikes Peak efforts) as his example which makes the video in this post all the more fascinating for Porsche lovers everywhere.
There's A Magnus Walker Design Hot Wheels On The Way
Ok, this is cool.  Who wouldn't want to have their brand immortalized as a Hot Wheels?  Surprisingly, it's not Magnus' ever present #277. Instead, it's a Porsche that Magnus doesn't even own, yet. A nod toward the future, perhaps?  Want to get one for yourself? Details in this post.

Reader Submitted Pictures
We know our readers come from far and wide, but this picture even took us a little bit by surprise.  If you don't recognize the statue in the background, that's because there's a good chance most of you haven't been to Mongolia.  This week's picture comes courtesy of FLATSIXES.com reader Jason Broome.  Jason is the Managing Director of Porsche Mongolia and is tasked with setting up Porsche's importership in the country.  The picture was taken at Tsonjin Boldog (about 30 miles east of Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar) at the Chinggis (Genghis) Khan Equestrian Statue. The Turbo comes way of Porsche while the '62 356 B is an all stock, original condition car lent to Porsche by its British owner who shipped it to Mongolia a few years ago and uses it there regularly.

We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time.   If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com.
