Video: We Took One Of The First Ever Ride-Alongs In Porsche's Turbocharged 991.2
Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, by their very nature, don't come around too often. This weekend, as a guest of Porsche's at Rennsport Reunion V, one of those opportunities presented itself when we were asked if
we wanted to ride-along in the new 991.2 for a few laps around Laguna Seca. As it turns out, we were one of the very first non-Porsche employees to get the opportunity. Our driver? None other than August Achleitner - the man in charge of the 911 model line. What a ride! Not only did we experience just how well the turbos work (can you say torque?) but August was kind enough to answer a number of burning technical questions for us, too. Watch the video and see for yourself.

Reader John Cuny sent us the picture above showcasing his black Porsche 964 (nicknamed Darth) out enjoying
the scenery in the Pacific Northwest. John told us it was a perfect day, (no traffic, 60 degrees and 50 miles of visibility) to take his 964 on a 15-mile trip up to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Forest. Looks like a beautiful spot for a gorgeous 911.
We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time.
