Here's A List Of The Historical Porsches That Will Be At RRV
There's less than a week to go before the biggest event in the world of Porsche kicks off at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca; Rennsport Reunion V. Even with the event on the immediate horizon, details of what to expect
(other than it will be spectacular) are still scarce. It's incredibly difficult to plan the logistics for an event like this so it's kind of understandable. Plus, Porsche wants to keep some cars as a surprise. We reached out to a number of private collectors to see which of their Porsches we could expect to see at the event. Here's what we found out. The picture above was taken this past summer in Danville National Cemetery where two of our reader John
Kline's wife's uncles are buried. He tells us that both served in WWII. One of them was a tank commander who served in 6 major campaigns in North Africa and Italy. He also happened to be a car guy -although he never had a Porsche. John and his wife think he would be proud that he and his niece have one. To this day, they still use a pair of German binoculars he brought back from his tour. John tells us they were humbled by the beauty and the quiet found in
Danville.
We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time. If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com. We provided you with lots of coverage from the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion
including pictures and auction results. If it still wasn't enough, don't worry, there's more. This time it's a TV special on FOX Sports 1. Here's info on the show and when to watch.

Porsche Pickup Truck Rendered Yup, we've seen Porsche pickups before. People have made them out of 914s, 928s and we've seen lots of renderings of others. The one in
this picture, however, is the first one we've seen, in five years, from the hands of well known automotive manipulator Theophilus Chin (he's the same person that brought us the Cayvan). Check out the details on this one in this post.
