The Last Turn - 959 Memories
The number of 959s produced is a moving target depending on who you speak with. It's generally accepted that there were a total of 337 of them built (including 37 protoypes and pre-production models).
Regardless of what number you agree with, it's a small production number and chances are, given their stratospheric pricing, most of us won't get a change to drive one on the street, let alone on the track. However, that's exactly what "The Last Turn" contributor Leonard Turner did back in 1985 and '86 when Porsche invited him to the Nürburgring and Weissach to test their newest toy. Here's what Leonard had to say about his experience and the making of the shot above. Related Porsche Blog Posts

What's that color you ask? Why it's Amethyst of course! Purchased this past June by reader Ben Russell, he found his Porsche on Instagram and flew from Rhode Island to Ohio in order to pick it up.
Originally owned by Andrew Michael Farkas (aka @farklefitment), this 1991 Carrera 2 has a host of suspension and engine upgrades that are too numerous to list. Ben told us that he's always loved Porsche ever since he was a kid. He grew up thinking you have to own a lot of VWs before you can own a Porsche and he's done his time in the V dub club.
Former rides include a VW Polo bread van (he's originally from the UK) then a mk 2 Golf, 3 Audi A3's an Audi S4 Wagon, a GTI, A Vanagon, a number of other VWs and finally this Porsche. Welcome to the family, Ben!
We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and
we'll do our best to get them all published in time. If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com. This 917 Has A Flamethrower And A Taser
Thank God for Craigslist! Without it, how would we ever find all these gems to showcase for you? This week we found a 917 Laser kit car that's
something out of a science fiction film gone bad. Equipped with both a Flamethrower and a Taser you might consider painting it black and trying on a bat suit. Who knows, maybe one of you will like it and just have to have it. More likely, the pictures and
write-up are good for a laugh. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll

Someone Please Build This Insane RWB Cayman GT4
Some of you like what Nakia-San does with his RWB creations, others think it's an abomination. We're squarely in the "love it" camp and when we stumbled upon the rendering you see here, our collective jaws
dropped to the floor. Will it be built? Could Nakai-San break his tradition of only using air-cooled 911s as his platform of choice? Here's what we know. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll

How To Make Cookies Embossed With The Porsche Crest
Everyone knows I love Porsche, I also happen to love baking. So, when the Porsche Cookie Stamp set from Driver's Selection showed up on our doorstop last month, I was pretty happy. Last week I was finally
able to put them to the test and the cookies turned out much better than I expected. This may not be for everyone, but it's a great family activity to share your love of Porsche (and cookies) with the kids and it's an even better treat to bring along to your next Porsche social gathering. We provide instructions and links to everything you need to make your very own Porsche themed cookies. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll
