Here's What All The Buttons On A 911 RSR Steering Wheel Control
If you think having the volume control and cruise control on the steering wheel is distracting wait until you read through this post.   In it, Team Falken Tire pilot Bryan Sellers explains what all 16 buttons, switches and dials are used for on the steering wheel of his Porsche 911 RSR and why they are positioned just so.
Some 918 Owners Are Giving The Rest Of Us Porsche Owners A Bad Name
What is it with a few bad egg 918 owners doing dumb things with their cars lately? I get that we live in a world where you don't have to be smart to be wealthy, but these guys aren't doing the rest of us any favors with the community at large. How do you convince your acquaintances that owning a Porsche doesn't make you a 'douche-bag' when they see headlines like this, or the video in this post?

Our Favorite Porsches On eBay This Week
We've been compiling the best Porsche models on eBay for almost a year now, and we've seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. There is some great new stuff every two weeks, so check back often. We've tracked down five more exciting Porsches for you nice people to purchase today, including a 911 S/T Tribute, a 914 race car, a gorgeous Fjord Green 356 Cabriolet, an Andial powered 993, and a special anniversary 996. Some of these cars could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

Emory Motorsports On Jay Leno's Garage
By now, most of you should have some idea what an "Outlaw" 356 is.  No, it's not something Magnus Walker came up with. Instead, it's a movement that got its start thanks to the efforts of the Emory family and their work with the Porsche 356.  If you aren't familiar with Rod Emory, or you haven't read our interview with him from earlier this year, you'll want to check out this latest video from Jay Leno's garage. Heck, even if you are familiar you should watch as you just might learn something new.

Reader Submitted Pictures
This week's reader submitted photo comes way of French Lick, Indiana and the 60th Porsche Parade.  Reader Lee Lichtenstein snapped this as he was departing to head home. Seems appropriate given the color of his limited edition '08 Boxster.

We want to thank everyone that has sent in pictures so far and we'll do our best to get them all published in time.   If you have a favorite Porsche picture (or video) you would like to share with other FLATSIXES.com readers simply email it to pictureoftheweek@flatsixes.com.

Will Porsche Break The 200,000 Vehicle Deliver Mark This Year?
A number of years ago Porsche made, at the time, what seemed like a bold claim: sell 200,000 vehicles per year by 2018.  Now, more than 3-years early they look poised to make good on that promise.  We explore Porsche's YTD profit, revenue numbers and sales drivers in this post.  Will they hit their goal early? We want to hear from you!
Hertz Adds Another Porsche Model To Their Dream Car Program
Rag & Bone Destroys Classic 911 In The Name Of Fashion, Calls It Art.
We live in an era of manufactured outrage. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't hear about someone being raked over the coals for an insensitive tweet, or a business being boycotted because of the owner's political leanings. Some instances might be justified, while others are just anger for the sake of anger. What's happened as a result of the video in this post, in contributor Bradley Brownell's opinion, just might be the latter.  Watch for yourself and you decide.
Rag & Bone Destroys Classic 911 In The Name Of Fashion, Calls It Art.
You messed with the wrong family, Rag & Bone. The fashion company, aptly named for featuring waif-like models wearing expensive garments, senselessly destroyed a true work of art — a beautiful black 1979 Porsche 911SC — by dropping a graffiti-covered concrete barrier onto the car. They call the ad campaign beautiful and bold, but we call it a catastrophe, and the SC's brethren have returned for revenge.
