RWB Australia's First Build Pays Tribute To A Famous Porsche

The first RWB in the southern hemisphere, aptly named "Southern Cross", was just completed in Australia.  Details are scarce, but from what we've seen so far it seems pretty apparent that the owner, and RWB icon Nakai-san, wanted to pay tribute to the legendary Pink Pig. Amongst other things, it's home to Cap de Formentor (a small mountain located on the northernmost point of the island). This week's reader submitted photo comes way of VFW Post 915 in Central Square, New York.  Reader William Noroski told us that he's owned his '58 356 since 1963.  Not only does his Porsche still wear its original paint, it hasn't been restored in anyway.  Photographed here with the North American F-86 Fighter, the two look like they belong together. Bill tells us that the F-86 entered service in 1949 and is still considered one of the greatest fighter aircraft of all time.  How appropriate to have its picture taken with one of the greatest sports cars of all time.
