Just last week we told you about Mobil 1's attempt at breaking the Russian Ice Speed Record in a Porsche Panamera on Lake Baikal.  Now, this week, comes word of a new Porsche adventure called #PlugIntoSiberia. 12 journalists using 2 Porsche hybrid cars will attempt to travel 7,000 kilometers across Siberia.  It's a journey across an unforgiving landscape.  While we won't know the outcome for another week or so, for now we have these incredible pictures taken on the frozen surface of Lake Baikal.

Accidents happen and cars catch fire every day.  Most of the time, however, they don't involve a $200,000+ 911 Turbo S.  Last week, Robert Radke was returning to his car in the parking lot of his local Costco when he smelled smoke. Fortunately, for him, it wasn't his Porsche on fire. Unfortunately, it was someone else's 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo. After ensuring the fire department was en-route, and making sure his car was out of harm's way, he filmed the demise of the $200,000+ 911.   Bob told us that the fire was so hot the sheet metal melted.  See for yourself in his video and pictures.
