This Porsche 936 Junior Is An Insanely Cool Collectible
|
What's a 936 Jr.? That's one above. If you can't tell by the image it's a 1/2 scale replica of the 936 that Jackie Ickx and Derek Bell raced to victory at Le Mans in 1981. Depending on who you
ask, somewhere between 50 and 100 of these were made. As a result, they're more rare than some full-size Porsche race cars. We recently found one for sale so we decided to dig a bit deeper into the history of these "go-karts". Here's what we found out.

Will Porsche Premier The Cayman GT4 In A Video Game?
|
The Cayman GT4 has been rumored to be in Porsche's product pipeline for longer than we can remember at this point. We've taken point on both sides of the story and discussed why we think
Porsche should build the Cayman GT4 as well as why we think they never will. Based on what we learned, from an update of the video game Real Racing 3 of all places, it looks like all our speculation should come to an end quite soon. Here's what we know right now. Attempt To Impress Girlfriend With New Porsche Ends Badly For This Guy
|
Ok, I admit it, that's me in the picture above. We were taking a tour down the Palm to Pines highway in a Panamera Turbo S when we got a little too happy with the "go pedal".
Fortunately for us, the CHP officer that pulled us over was a Porsche fan and he let us go on our merry way. Unfortunately, for the guy in this story, things didn't go so easily. Read more. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll Enjoy!

Did Porsche Just Unintentionally Reveal The Cayman GT4 In Their Latest Museum Video?
|
We find it hard to believe that Porsche would do something like this unintentionally, but I guess you never know. Regardless of their intentions, Porsche's latest video gives us another

Why It Might Just Pay To Drive A Porsche Macan
|
When buying a new car, of any make, it's generally accepted that your car is going to lose some of its value simply driving off the dealer's lot. However, based on a recent study we read, that
may not be the case for some fortunate Porsche Macan owners. Porsche's newest crossover SUV seems to be defying gravity when it comes to depreciation. Here's why. Related Porsche

Will The U.S. Get A Larger Allocation Of Macans In 2015?
|
Last year, in the 7-months the Macan was available for sale in the U.S., Porsche delivered 7,241 of them. Based on the nearly 7-month wait to get one (in some markets) it seems Porsche could
have sold many more of them. Why such a long wait to buy one? Simple. Supply constraints or allocation issues. Could those allocation or supply constraints be lifting? Amy Wilson, of Automotive News, talks with a number of Porsche Executives about the issue. Here's what
they had to say. Related Porsche Blog Posts You'll Enjoy!
